Halloween 2021 - What We Know So Far - Part 2 - The Midlands

East Midlands


Dr Frights Halloween Nights near Northampton announced that they were hoping to reopen this year. They have announced on social media that this year's event is a World Tour and gave us the countries in which their mazes would be themed too. So far, officially, they have announced three mazes and those are Killer Clowns in Ibiza, Yokai Temple, The Grindhouse Down in Mexico and Hollywood Horror: The Final Chapter. Xtreme Scream Park in Melton Mowbray announced that not only would they be opening but they would also be opening a new attraction quite early on. They will have 6 mazes in total in Ash Hell Penitentiary, The Village, Hoodoo Voodoo, Belvoir Manners, The Pie Factory and new for 2021 Ashes to Earth. Also new for 2021 is The Unfair Funfair scare zone. They have also recently announced that The Pie Factoru will this year feature the Melton Hunting Lodge. The event will run for 17 nights starting from October 1st. Ticket prices vary depending on what night you book and when you book and start from £29.95. Zombie Uprising have many new locations for 2021 with various dates running from July until the end of November. In the Midlands they have three locations. They have Coventry in the West Midlands with their new for 2021 location The Village, in the East Midlands at RAF Kirkton in Lindsey in Lincolnshire they have The Last Stand, which will be open in October and they have The Department in Leicester. Tickets are £50.00, but you can secure your place with a £20.00 deposit. Nott's Maze in Nottingham will be back this October with Labyrinth. This year's event will have two attractions. Labyrinth Cornevil will be the name of the main attraction in the corn maze themed to a freak show and the second attrcation is new for 2021 and it's called The Village. The event opens from 7pm and is open every Friday and Saturday throughout October from the 8th. Tickets start from £15. The Sessions House of Horrors in Spalding will be returning for a second year this year. Running from the 23rd of October (Excluding Monday 25th) until the 31st October, the event will introduce a whole new route with even more scares than last year. Zombie Infection currently only have one event running throughout October and that is at their Nottingham location called The Forest. Tickets start from £79.99. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Zombie Infection website.


Fear Island at Fantasy Island in Skegness were one of the first theme parks to announce their Halloween return. The current line up for this year event has 4 mazes in Killer Villa, HellHole, Psycho Vault Death Game and The Haunting: Under Investigation. Due to a recent fire in Killer Villa it is currently unknown if this maze will actually open but fingers crossed it can open as it is still listed on the website. There will also be a family friendly show called The Pirates of Fear Island. The event will run on selected dates from 9th October. Tickets cost £33.00 but that does include acces to all the rides as well as one go in each maze. The Circus of Screams is also returning with an additonal cost of £6.00. Whatton House in Loughborough will play host to Whatton House of Horror presents Purgatory this October. The 40 minute mile long walk promises to not be for the faint hearted. The event will run on selected nights throughout October from Sunday 10th and tickets cst £17.85. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Whatton House of Horror website.


Pirates Play, Party and Leisure in Nottingham will play host to Clown House Nottingham.Its a 30 minute play event for adults where the three storey play structure has been taken over by some crazy clowns to make playtime more fun. The National Justice Museum in Nottingham will be hosting an over 18s Halloween tour called Condemned. The tour lasts approximately an hour. Eerie Dawn have teamed up with Laser Zone Northampton to bring Eerie Dawn's House of Fun. We currently don't know anything else, including dates or prices but once we know we shall let you know.


West Midlands

Alton Towers Scarefest have updated their website to say that the event will run in 2021. The website has also confirmed the dates for this years event with it starting on the 8th October and ending on the 31st October. The event is currently looking like it will run for 20 days this year. They have announced their line up for this year with all attractions from 2020 returning. This means Freak Show: Toxic Junkyard, Altonville Mine Tours, The Attic, Darkest Depths and a host of family favourites will be back. New for 2021 is Trick O' Treat Town, a family attraction. Tickets start form £39.00 for entry to the park with maze tickets being an additional £10.00 for Trick OTreat Town and £30.00 for te other mazes in a combi maze ticket. Screamfest is Resurrected in Burton this year with 3 returning mazes and 2 new maze. Returning this year will be Love Hurts, Freak Out and Hillbilly Joes Zombee Zoo. Le Theatre Noir and Creed Farm will be joining the events line up of attractions this year. Tickets start from £12 for a scaredy cat ticket or £19.00 for a maze ticket and the event will run for 13 nights from their preview night on the 14th October. Last year Twycross Zoo hosted Horrors of the Wild and they have updated their website to confirm that the event will be returning in 2021. The event will run for 3 nights on the 29th, 30th and 31st October. Tickets are £35 but that includes entry to the event and a meal. Stourbridge Scare Maze have confirmed they are back this year. The attraction will take you through several scare areas throughout the experience. The event opens on the 8th October and will run on selected nights throughout October. Tickets are £15.00. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Stourbridge Scare Maze website.


Walsall Scare Maze have announced the name of their attraction for this . Bunker 41 will be what is on offer from this award winning scare attraction. Warwick Castle have confirmed on their website that both The Haunted Castle family friendly event and the Castle After Dark will both be returning. Both events will run bteween 23rd - 31st October 2021. Little is currently known about what will be fully on offer but we are sure that they will update their website soon. Satan's Slammer will be opening in Bedworth this October. The event wil run from the 22nd to the 31st October. Tickets start from £14.00. For more information and to book tickets you ca visit the Satan's Slammer website.
